Welcome to Herramientas Mate. By creating an account, browsing, or booking with us you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

2. Bookings & payments

Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and may change until a booking is confirmed. Completing a purchase authorizes us (and our payment processor) to charge the total shown. Availability is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation.

3. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation windows and refund eligibility are shown on each product and at checkout. Where a refund is due, it is returned to the original payment method.

4. User content & profile photos

When you upload a profile photo, review, or other content, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant us a licence to display it in connection with our service. Profile photos are reviewed before they appear publicly. We may decline or remove a photo for any of the following reasons:

• The photo is not of the account holder.
• It contains nudity or sexually explicit content.
• It contains violence, hate speech, or offensive symbols.
• It contains copyrighted or trademarked material you do not own.
• It is low quality, blurry, or unrecognizable.
• It contains contact information, advertising, or spam.

If a photo is not approved, you will be notified with the reason(s) and may upload a different one.

5. Account deletion & data retention

You may request deletion of your account at any time from your profile. When a deletion request is approved:

• Your account is discontinued for 30 days before your access is removed.
• During those 30 days you may recover your account by signing in — this cancels the deletion.
• After the 30-day period your access is permanently removed and the account can no longer be recovered.
• For legal and accounting reasons, we retain your associated data for 10 years before it is completely deleted.

A deletion request is reviewed by our team, who may decline it if the account has outstanding bookings, payments, or other pending items that must be resolved first.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
